Artists committed to creating beautifully crafted finishes

We are Rebecca Tasker and Mike Long, owners of Simple Construct. We met in art school in England and have been working together, in one way or another, for over 25 years.

In 2003, we shifted our focus from visual art to construction. In 2010, we earned our General Contractor’s License and founded Simple Construct Naturally Healthy Homes, an award-winning Design-Build firm specializing in high-performance, natural homes.  Working on natural homes introduced us to the fascinating world of plaster.

In 2023, we dedicated the company to fine plasters. Simple Construct Artisan Plaster Work brings high-quality finishes into even more spaces in Southern California by focusing on custom plaster installation in new and existing residential and commercial spaces.

Our background in visual art and 20+ years in construction give us a unique ability to imagine, communicate, and fulfill complex plaster projects. We look forward to working with you.
